*Eris floridana (Banks, 1904) - Jumping Spider

Species Under Review There are questions about the identification of the spiders shown here in the video and under "Identification." Their chracteristics are consistent with another species - Eris rufa (Kaston's E. pinea). E. rufa is not well known and until taxonomists bring clarity to this situation the identification is problematic. Records will be added at a future date. The map at right is for E. floridana.
